LAWN STARTER
This blend comprises sand, scrub soil, gypsum, compost, steer manure and ash and is screened to less than 15mm. Although it will drain well and not compact, it still has a high moisture holding capability. It is very workable making it so much easier to produce a level lawn. This lawn starter should be applied under lawn at a depth of 50 to 100 mm thick. It does not contain Kikuyu seed.
LAWN TOP DRESSING
A rich blend of fine washed sand (< 2mm), steer manure, gypsum and scrub soil that is screened to less than 5 mm. It will not set hard and has a high water infiltration rate. This product is ideal for top dressing actively growing lawns to a thickness of 5 to 10 mm.
Podium Mix
This is a lightweight soil, with high organic matter, including larger particles of coal ash, sand, soil and some cow manure. Excellent for large pots or raised garden beds.
PREMIUM GARDEN SOIL BLEND
This garden blend is a dark, aged mineral soil, that does not contain coarse material. It is selectively graded to ensure permeability and air porosity. Meets AS4419 standards for PH levels and is regularly tested. Ideal for most home gardening.
RANGE RED GENERAL PURPOSE COMPOSTED GARDEN SOIL
Red soil is characterised by its reddish colour, which is due to a high percentage of iron oxide. It's a great soil type for the Toowoomba region, because of the warm climate.
REGY'S MAGIC MIX
A unique soil blend only found at GCLC. It's a blend of premium garden soil, screened cow manure and mushroom compost. Excellent for your veggie gardens, and used in many of the parks around Toowoomba, especially in the Carnival of Flowers competitions. “Put some Magic back in your garden.
ROCKY POINT PREMIUM POTTING MIX
The ideal blend for both a quick start and long-term sustained feed for all plants. Boosted with quality slow and controlled release fertiliser, it feeds your plants for 12-14 months. It's a blend of organic composted material, coir fibre, slow release fertilisers, zeolite, fish & seaweed extract, gypsum, lime, iron, natural rock trace elements and a natural wetting agent.
TOOWOOMBA GARDEN SOIL BLEND
This locally made garden soil blend is a general purpose soil mix of red soil, sand, compost, ash, minerals and gypsum screened to less than 20mm and manufactured to Australian Standard AS 4419.
This soil has a pH of 5.5 to 7.5 that is ideal for most garden plants. As it is red soil based product it is suited to acid-loving plants like azaleas and camellias.
